It's not hard, but a good thing to know how to do. Would also suggest compiling your own Linux kernel.

@lucifargundam oh, I first compiled a Linux kernel years ago. That's super simple though - they have menus and it's really well documented. I usually don't bother now since the only kernel features I f**k with are modular anyway.
I'm not especially good with my hands, so fiddling with those wires was genuinely challenging for me.
