@Amikke Apparently they already start to throttle at 90c. Which I guess checks out.
@VD15 sounds pretty typical, but 90°C is a lot for something that starts to melt at 80°C lol. If you find a way to set it lower it would be great since if they never reach that temp you're losing nothing, and if they do it might save your hardware.
@Amikke Well 90C was presumably the core temp of the actual chip on the card. I’d imagine the surface of the card itself and the air coming out of it is gonna be much cooler. Plus, this was literally locked in a box with like 2 square foot of space when it reached those temps. I know the air reached at least 50C in there but I think it’ll be much cooler once I actually move it out into the open
