I really hope this doesn’t also melt on me. My cards shouldn’t make the brackets reach PETG’s glass transition temp once they’re out of the cupboard. PLA apparently starts to melt at about 60C whereas PETG can apparently go to about 80C. If they do melt, then I guess I’ll have to resort to some specialty stuff, but hopefully the better ventilation should fix things.

@VD15 are they set to throttle down around 78° or are you just crossing your fingers and hoping they never get hotter? :D

@VD15 sounds pretty typical, but 90°C is a lot for something that starts to melt at 80°C lol. If you find a way to set it lower it would be great since if they never reach that temp you're losing nothing, and if they do it might save your hardware.

@Amikke Well 90C was presumably the core temp of the actual chip on the card. I’d imagine the surface of the card itself and the air coming out of it is gonna be much cooler. Plus, this was literally locked in a box with like 2 square foot of space when it reached those temps. I know the air reached at least 50C in there but I think it’ll be much cooler once I actually move it out into the open
