@VD15 huh, apparently it's more like 0.5-3kV. Still basically a lightning strike as far as the wasp's concerned though lol
@VD15 electric swatters cured my fear of wasps. Wasp vs some 6kV is an easy dub for the latter.

@fribbledom that would make them some kind of an open source symbiote. Only helping FOSS when it's profitable is fine, the problem is trying to abuse it for profit.
@trinsec StreetPass finds fedi verification tags on visited websites, nice for finding out who's here. I visited PHP's documentation for the Gender/Gender class, which I highly recommend, it's *very* PHP, and it helpfully suggested I follow PHP's masto profile.

I think the biggest failing of Windows is making the update process so annoying and so disruptive that there is a dangerous amount of people that would rather never get security updates then have to deal with Windows Update

What's to stop Musk, who's already tried meddling with German elections, from seizing Zelenskyy's, or any other European leader's X account, and posting something with dire geopolitical consequences? We're way past the point where it's wise for European leaders and institutions to rely on a presence on X—and other US platforms are not a good long-term solution either. More should follow the example of the @EUCommission and provide their updates directly, without middlemen, through the fediverse.

Some folks find it confusing that there's a survival game called Rust and a programming language called Rust, but there's an easy way to remember.
If you get into Rust and there's a bunch of naked people running around killing each other with rocks, that's the programming language.
