@PawelK It's empowering to make that kind of progress. I can't say that I agree with Calculus being taught outside of a University. Public schools might cover a little bit of it and one might get college credit for it but it isn't even close to the rigor of the University version.
For instance, in one of my Calculus courses we were given a single assignment. We knew derivatives but the task was to find the inverse operation without textbooks or the internet. That was 20% percent of our grade in the course. A lot of us got it correct or correct enough.
That professor designed missile systems for the USSR during the 70s. He never spoke much about it. He also called Chechens good people. The litmus test for what time period someone lived in Russia.
