@lupyuen A Xeon CPU should be able to handle that. I'm wondering if the Platform Controller Hub is limiting the throughput. A PCI card for storage should, in theory, allow for less of a bottle neck as it would interface with the CPU.
The log appears to indicate that the interface is over saturated. From what I recall, the interface on Workstation Xeons is closer to the desktop grade hardware than it is to the rack server Xeons.
It might be worth a try to test a storage controller card if you have access to one. Someone in home server community might have a better take on what's going on.
@lupyuen 4 months of an increasing workload without issue is very good.
