@skyblond I actually just got my hands on the S23 and the stock camera app is flagship quality. I got a DNG and JPEG capture with the app. I took a super slow motion video and it took multiple frames with the light on and off. We have 60hz in the US so that's 60 cycles a second. I was able to get numerous frames of each cycle.

That's the first Samsung that has been impressive in a long time. The UI is complete garbage.

@thor Some Germans would say that's how you get the best flavor.

@skyblond On my OnePlus I just had to resort to using the Camera2 API with OpenCamera to get DNG captures. The stock camera app made awful quality photos. The benefit of using the Camera2 API and a DNG capture is that I get the absolute best quality captures that my cameras can handle. I'd highly recommend trying it or looking into the RAW formats if your camera app supports it.

It gives a much better quality image after it is processed. It takes up more space but the difference can be stunning.

@natharari @boingboingbot The United States has its faults but such acts are overstated and we'd still rather die than give up our liberties. Americans from both sides of our political spectrum are free to go and purchase firearms.

Putting that topic aside, we suffer similar problems. Those in government profit from our suffering. Corporations can influence our governments more than the people. The powerful and influential know how to keep their crimes from seeing the light of day. It only takes pumping news with stories delivered in the right way to bring about chaos and division. While we are busy fighting amongst each other they are free to act without public scrutiny.

Big a, little a, bouncing b. The system might have got you but it won't get me. Crass had a good point. The government knows how to cause divisions and use them to their advantage. Taking a step back and looking at the bigger picture shows that their tricks are similar. Molding public opinion to their will and getting us to do their bidding.

Looking back at the US for a moment. The public was manipulated to get an experimental jab and any opposition was dismissed as misinformation from a foreign country. It's no secret that those in power made massive profits and it became law to require the jab while we fought amongst each other. Rather recently, we finally have cases that have established that the jabs were not as safe as we were told. Some of the information that was dismissed as misinformation turned out to be true.

The best fights are the ones that one doesn't have a part in. People fought for what they thought was right and the government washed their hands. They didn't participate in the fight. Only crazy people were looking into problems with the jabs. Some batches being stronger than they should have been and other manufacturing problems were overshadowed by a scared and angry public.

They fooled us and they did it with ease. The jab isn't my argument. A litmus test was likely what was performed. They can control us without drugs and without much effort. There's a lot more going on.

@skyblond You can use a third party app to interface with the Camera2 API. This allows one to capture DNG or RAW images even if the standard photo app doesn't support this feature.

I recommend OpenCamera for this. You can also have it take a jpg image along with the DNG or RAW format. The raw formats can be converted to many different formats.

@Hoss @ProudKulak Or maybe we all punched firewalls and a person is much softer.

@kf01 @ProudKulak @Hoss Yeah those are going to be the regular people who go to scrap yards. There's enough stigma against people who work in scrap, I'm not surprised that they would let that information go. The regulars are usually hard workers with calloused hands and mostly pure hearts.

@charliebrownau @ProudKulak @Hoss Shit, y'all must live outside the deep south. Down here it's all about the have and the have nots.

@Hoss @ProudKulak I've seen plenty and they were just like everyone else there. Brothers in scrap iron. It was the least racist place I can recall. I won't exclude the reason why everyone was treated the same was likely because crossing scrapers would result in a trip to the ER. We were all probably viewed as trash and druggies but hell I would proudly wear that label. That tie supposed to impress me? How many hundreds of pounds of metal did you pull out of the woods today? Go ahead and call the cops. Tell em that you have a problem with Blue Collar Workers.

Another day in the life.

@Hoss @ProudKulak I made a fair bit of money cleaning the woods of trash steel and iron. It was good work and I enjoyed it but perhaps the best part was seeing the woods cleaned up. It's not every day that one gets paid to help restore nature to its proper beauty.

There was a stereotype of everyone being tweakers and I won't say it's entirely false. The people I met at the Scrap yard were hard working and honest. If they did enjoy a little crank, I hope it was the best they ever had. They deserved it.

@Hoss I remember when phone lines went down somewhere around me and it turns out that the old copper was taken down so it could be recycled. Unfortunately it was just replaced with more copper instead of a more abundant resource.

I've thought about why telephone companies don't upgrade the infrastructure. They will likely complain about cost but I don't buy it. They expect people to believe that miles and miles of copper cable isn't a hidden plan B or even a reason to swap to better technology. They could just use all that copper to fund the upgrades. Granted, they would need to do it gradually as to not raise suspicion and make prices plummet.

@Nazareno To quote a saying from around the Vietnam era, "Like father, like son, like hell!"

@rdviii A convertible will weigh more and have worse performance due to lessened body rigidity and worse distribution of force. A proper tubular steel roll cage would help to reduce the handicap especially in corners.

@Hoss I support the message. I do believe that most of the world's Copper has already been mined. Recycling of Copper should become a priority sooner rather than later.

@Nazareno It is censorship and children are underestimated in their desire to learn. If anything, Ms. Clinton is taking a hard turn from the censorship efforts of her mother and Tipper Gore. Red and Blue parties represent a divided nation. Perhaps there's a lot of good when reading between the lines.

This guy is still out there releasing music and touring and that's pretty cool #EddyGrant
