Laying on the couch and my dog heard another dog barking outside she jumped on me and stood on me growling at the window.

Only 4 of my students showed up for school today.
Apparently some of the other kids believed we were destined for the apocalypse and others were afraid they’d go blind.
I feel a little defeated, but tomorrow is a new day (because it wasn’t the APOCALYPSE!)

St. Paddy's Day is over as of last month, EUMETSAT. You've been posting weird ones like this lateley.

Why is Crystal a hot sauce but tobasco is a condiment, WinCo? Why are they not in the same aisle??

The aliens did show up for the eclipse, but after taking a quick look around at the Earth in 2024, they claimed unconvincingly that they'd forgotten a prior invasion committment in Alpha Centuri and hurried away again.

Yesterday’s big project was moving the few plants from the meadow just south of the pond that I planted last year & survived the deer and lawnmowers.

2 Black-eyed susan, 2 Lanceleaf coneflower, and 1 purple coneflower

They’re now in a little spot off to the side that I’ve blocked off with some small logs, where I transplanted some rescued Obedient plant last year (one of those seems to be coming up, too).

It doesn’t look like much yet but I hope this will be a nice little wildflower patch 🙏🏻

Here’s a better look!

The flagged plants, in order:

"Nearly 90 percent of transgender people in state prisons have been placed in solitary confinement at some point during their incarceration, according to a new report by the Vera Institute of Justice and the prison abolitionist organization Black & Pink.

"'Most respondents experienced solitary confinement, sometimes as a result of harassment, discrimination, or concerns for safety,' the report says."
