@Orakel
I cant imagine. I have one kid and it's rough. Kudos
@Orakel
Refrigerators plural? Why more than one?
@lashman
Sure, after a 2 year delay to milk all the PlayStation money out of it that they can
@cowanon
I never implied he wasn't a hero. I'm just saying he wasn't the only hero.
@cowanon
A weak man attacks the origin of the person instead of the arguments he presents.
@cowanon
Bad men can do good things and vice versa. The bald guy was an antagonistic assaulter who needed to get shot. The other two(from their perspectives) were just trying to stop what they thought was a mad gunman.
@cowanon
The only thing he probably heard at the time was that there was a gunman who was trying to run away. From this perspective, you can see that his actions were quite heroic, running towards a gunman.
Kyle's actions of self-defense were justified, but that doesn't mean that we should demean this man for trying to protect others.
Sure, but what is considered truth is always up for debate. The first hydroxycloroquin study had great results. Would it have been right if social media determined that doubters were spreading fake news? No! Refinement of science requires the capacity to question and retest other studies and results.
@Atomic_Samson
@selea
Absolutely. At least in the USA. It's important to look at the history of the USA to glean insight into its culture. We were founded by people who overthrew a massive empire. The constitution was created with inherent distrust in politicians, and each state is partially autonomous so that variations in culture can allow for variations in government.
In this context, it absolutely makes sense that people would be inherently distrustful of authority. Their right to do so is directly protected by the First Amendment, and indirectly protected by the Second.
Whether or not that's moral or right is a different question, but whether it's protected by free speech is indisputable.
@selea I'm not a mod, but limiting free speech opens it up to abuse by the powerful. What's considered "fake news" can eventually be limited to that which helps your opposition.
@ConradBarwa rates of religious people are declining anywhere that has a big increase in quality of life.
@Moon dank memes
@nmart what makes you say this? The game theory is in favor of him accumulating as much power as possible, which federal agents would facilitate.
@schestowitz Money printer goes BRRRRR!
@cowanon Kyle Rittenhouse was only arrested to dissuade vigilantism right now at a time when we're on the edge of war and conflict. He will get off free in a few months, I'd bet big money on it.
When we see something on the news that we know about, we always think "That's not right!" We then forget about that and believe everything else we see.
