This view of the Milky Way was captured at Sunset Crater National Monument near Flagstaff, AZ, USA in 2018.
My co-workers and I were taking the back way into Flagstaff from a job site at the end of the day and pulled off the road to stargaze. I forgot my tripod at the hotel, so I positioned the camera on the truck tailgate, aimed towards the Milky Way, and took a couple dozen photos. This 10-image composition was the result!

There I was, chillaxing, when I said to my self SELF, THERE’S A 1/2” OF PAINT LEFT. YOU SHOULD GIVE THE BATHROOM SOME RAZZMATAZZ. So here we are, 2 hours later & I went from boring bathroom to the start of something good. I’ll paint the rest white in Feb when I add some shelving.

I cannot keep this to myself. There is a website (radio.garden) where you can listen to radio stations all over the world for free. No log in. No email address. Nothing.
When the site loads, you are looking at the globe. Slide the little white circle over the green dots (each green dot is a radio station) until you find one you like.
I have been listening to this station in the Netherlands and it absolutely slaps. I have no idea what they're saying but the music is fantastic.

@mckeay Finally succeeded at printing one of the articulated dragons! Thanks for the pointers. Mr.9 loves it and has it guarding his treasure (which is a kit that teaches how pin and tumbler locks work).
@pj My default settings for replies is “unlisted” because I don’t really want them showing up in public timelines without context.
Your post is making me rethink that choice… but I’m probably not the only person to do that.

#DYK that the forensic scientist Frances Glessner Lee created real crime scene dioramas to train homicide investigators in the 1940s/50s? She was troubled that patrolmen and detectives rarely knew how to secure a scene for the medical examiner, or identify key evidence that might prove useful in a forensic investigation. And so, she set out to create dioramas as educational tools.
She also helped found the first Department of Legal Medicine at Harvard when forensics was in its infancy.
