@stux woah, I wasn’t expecting that much
.@NASAWebb just scored another first: a full profile of the atoms, molecules, and even signs of active chemistry in a distant planet's skies. https://go.nasa.gov/3EVu1M6

Guess I’ll be doing an intro finally
So I am just a random high schooler, I’m interested in programming, baking, music, and similar things I guess
I’m kinda all over really on whatever I’m doing
As for me being on mastodon, I created an account back in July on mastodon.technology
You may know that instance is shutting down soon, so I did a transfer over here through c.im (mastodon.technology doesn’t federate with qoto.org I think)
Now I’m here I guess, if I follow you, you’re probably cool enough for me to want to see more
I myself will probably lurk and post something every so in a while
(I may edit this later)
I have a friend who also goes to the same introductory comp sci class as me and it is hilarious how bad he is sometimes
I’ve seen him:
- Use for loop format on a while loop
- Calculate a value and then completely miss that they had to assign it somewhere
- Somehow screw up python indentation so bad I was surprised how they did it
- Miss parentheses way after one should realize they are missing
- Not as serious, but they name variables very silly things sometimes
And more I can’t remember
It’s time. Delete your Twitter DMs

(If you have friends on Mastodon who have come from Twitter please boost to increase their chance of seeing this. Likes, although appreciated, won't increase this post's visibility)
