A developer company linked to Doug Ford borrowed $100 million at an interest rate of 21% to purchase land from the Greenbelt. No one does that unless they know they’re going to get a hefty payoff.

This whole thing stinks & needs to be investigated. #onpoli

After a very wet few weeks we're finally getting some proper dry weather. Loch Shieldaig and Shieldaig Village.

According to my chocolate Advent calendar there's just 3 days until Christmas.

Ok, this is a thing that really bothers me about Western movies/TVs/books this days, maybe someone has some insight. Every hero is the "chosen one", everyone has been foretold in a prophecy- they are just badass for no reason but birthright. They do absolutely nothing to earn it.

Power cuts tomorrow unless there’s drastic usage reduction

Remember Tories laughing at Germany's efficiency measures to avoid power cuts and increase gas storage?

Germany spent all summer procuring gas, switching to renewables.

UK spent all summer voting a new party leader & then unseating them

Gas storage going into winter:

Germany - 104 days
UK - 9 days

When people travel to the past, they worry about radically changing the present by doing something small.

Few people think that they can radically change the future by doing something small in the present.

This is the only real time travel paradox.

Yearly holiday reminder - if someone says they don't want an alcoholic drink, that's all they need to say. Unless they offer, it's none of your business if they're in recovery, have a health issue, or just don't feel like it. Don't be the one who makes it weird.
