@dadbod "There was a time not so long ago when being an asshole wasn't cool" I love that line. I wish I could boost this a hundred thousand times.

President #Biden just announced his 56th round of nominees for federal judicial positions — bringing the number of announced federal judicial nominees to 261.
Someone said “good morning” to me at the bus stop and before thinking about it I said “no it’s not. It is objectively *not* a good morning.”
I regretted this instantly all the bus stop regulars already think I’m a strange little nerd. Now they will think (know?) I’m a weirdly politically obsessed strange little nerd.
But instead of the look 👀 of disapproval, hilariously everyone agreed.
“Bad morning!”
“BAD morning!”
If only we could convert conservative hypocrisy into usable energy. It certainly sustainable enough.

Many years ago i encountered an article about the ecological benefits of “Not Raking Leaves In Fall” and I follow it happily now. All the trees are currently dropping dead leaves and where the wind puts them, I leave them. Every year, in the spring, I marvel at the discovery that overwinter, they get used, eaten, and rot into the ground. There is simply nothing to rake in the spring. I sort of want to kick earlier me for busting ass with raking. It’s pointless. #today #yard #leaves #raking
