Watching how things are shaping up, I’m pretty sure that’s Bluesky. It’s hitting its critical mass now, in this post-election migration wave, and you can see it happening.

But. The Fediverse has built enough of a following that it’s built its own gravity well, and the recognition of that is in the integration of Bluesky and Threads with it. And when those platforms enshittify in 10 years, Fedi will still be here, even bigger, and I will be restrained in my I-told-you-sos to my friends.
