@jaykuo , we saw two different speeches. The one I saw was Biden telling the world that republicans are not the bad guys, and he could work with them. That just isn't realistic.
@asociologist , Schools are still the safest place in the United States for kids. And as far as I know, the number one killer on school property is sports injuries. I wish we taught people that, rather than how to be scared. We are not doing our kids a service making them feel afraid 24/7.
@_L1vY_ @asociologist , kept getting the error message that the photo I was trying to upload was expected to be a different size, and the upload would be canceled. Teething problems.

@msquebanh , I was found a couple of days ago by a bunch of neo nazi trolls who wanted to talk about gay sex with black folks. It seems some servers are well known for harboring these people. I have only been on Mastodon since Oct, and hadn't discovered this dark underbelly, but the owner of my instance directed me to a nice resource, which I will post a link to soon...
You don't need to hide the naked people, just change the way you look...

@maddad , I have only been here since October. I am still learning too.
@maddad , just a warning, which I only discovered a few days ago. Not all servers are good actors. I was spammed by a bunch of neo-nazis a few days back. But it was the 1st time I had been bothered by the type. You can report this, but the report goes to the guys doing the spamming in many cases. But, you can just block entire servers, it's easy, and there are lists you can use to pre-block the bad apples.
