@AmyPetty The key is to understand that there is no one person for science news, as when a scientist gets outside of their field they can make mistakes as easily as anyone else (a la Neil Tyson). For example, I love Derek Lowe at Science for drug discovery news, but if he started talking astrophysics I would find a different source.
