When you say nothing or don't do (with the right people or opposition) / don't show where you stand / don't construct / don't keep on looking in between your day to day and family life, then there is stagnation and not much else going to happen.
It is measurably wrong in many ways and allowing it to happen by not doing these things on a day-to-day basic. Main point overall is people need to fix up also from having holiday away from life and realise it's all part of it or else lose it forever.

I feel the same about government. People like to despair about the state of the world, but not fix it.
When people think of 'activism’ they of marching in the streets. But now-a-days, you change things with a single toot, or a re-toot.
