I need to put on a tin foil hat for a moment ask the conspiracy theory question. Is it at all possible that the riots were intentionally started because the world was starting to display too much unity in the face of the pandemic?
@LittleWytch I would say they are long repressed reaction to inequalities and injustices. US is a very polarized and troubled society.

@design_RG I fully agree. That's what I think makes it the perfect distraction. Nothing explodes the media like racial riots, especially deserved ones. I just mean... the human race was starting to unify under a shared experience with this pandemic. I'm just wondering... does it benefit anyone to destroy that unity with sudden and explosive disharmony?
