Plus electric cars actually have fewer parts in them than putt-putt cars do. They require *less* energy to build than a putt-putt car.
@Pat @taz That's not true.
The rare earth minerals they require need a *lot* more labor to produce and refine than simple iron or steel... and we're starting to run low on them.
