Folks, it's perfectly fine not to want to engage with random strangers on certain topics at certain times of your life.
However, when you feel that way, I strongly recommend you abstain from posting about those subjects on social media. 🤦♂️

So why don't you just say so to people like me you don't respond to?

For example to me or similar cases it seems you're ignoring the person without telling them?

Makes no sense to also post now these advices without telling people if you're just in your own world, not wanting to talk like you said, picking and choosing, avoiding topics, just posting for yourself etc - (too many ways people use it here).
and then you tell people not to post about this (If I get you right) and somehow being telepathic from not knowing or not telling people yourself for sure what is going on. Especially if you are communicating with others and people can see that...
Sometimes it's the case the person is not good at Mastodon or not good at seeing direct messages in Mastodon (we've all been there and do this on the regular) ....or too busy
...or really doesn't want etc etc....
Why not make it clearer AND JUST REPLY!
