A quarter of California's dairy herds have been infected with #H5N1 #birdflu since spread began there in the summer. 18 more herds confirmed today for a total of 277 in the state. An acquaintance provided me with a bag of peppers...ghost, in appearance.
I decocted the essence of the peppers and placed the liquid into 2 oz dropper bottles. The flesh and a handful of garlic, salt, roasted red peppers, went into the blender for sauce. I suspect a surprise when I make delivery....
