It seems the International Community is allowing Trump to fall on his sword....Need help in the Straights? Nope. Not supporting Ukraine? We will. No sanctions on Russian oil? We will push... I will not be surprised if there is a relief for Cuba.

@bich When the students would come through my shop at the health department, I pushed them into interactions/meetings where they were representing the health department/District Director. Later, we would critique the meeting, including how the student(s) felt. This input helped them to determine their own path. "Do you want to run a program, or an agency?" was always part of that discussion...
@bich I believe this is why the spoils system was eliminated by a more....concerned, Congress. Our professional public administrators are invaluable for continuity across administrations. The breaking of public agencies supports that short term, but not-strategic, expediency....
Went to the local BBQ place for lunch pickup....Lots of action; Cornhole outside, scurrying staff...all in celebration of the St Paddy's weekend. Triple staff, dressing for the occasion and as I waited, I watched the amount of booze laid in...Have fun folks, I'll be at home.☘️

I was talking with my sister before she left for California, she was asking why I don't participate in more social activities. I told her that after working COVID for 400 days straight, I am cynical regarding the intelligence, critical thinking, and reading comprehension of the average American. That cynicism is further confirmed by trumpists in all their flavors....A tincture of time cures all ills...A tincture is a substance in alcohol, hence time and ETOH....
I drop my sister at the airport tomorrow. She came out to make sure I was not abusing mom (92) after I moved her in...She kept mom entertained, but was also a wrench in the patterns I have. On to the rest of doing my familial duty...
