@GoodCheerPixie You've been doing a great job, take the rest of the day...

@HelenBranswell Watching these decisions reminds me of the 2009 pandemic...I was visited by a coalition from one of the gated communities. Can we just close the gate? My response; you still need potable water, still need refuse disposal, still need medical response...why don't you help the rest of the community to prepare? To their credit...I was talking about influenza, planning for the impacts and so on. In my opinion, diverting flights and treating patients outside the US is a fail medically, as a public policy, and as a message to the public at large.

One of those nights. Mom is fed and sleeping it off....A little Glenmorangie for me before the rack. Peace to all.

Rigatoni and sauce...garlic bread; fermented garlic in honey...

@crooksandliars It would hurt him worse if all of the "monuments" were renamed for heroes of equitability....Harvey Milk, Shirlie Chisolm, etc.

Quick store run: spaghetti and garlic bread for mom later. Another cup of coffee...Enjoy the day.

@Futurism @google-Futurism Maybe he should start with ethics in business, public policy, and community...

I saw the NOAA is conducting a survey regarding NOAA Weather Radio to collect information that will be used in their modernization efforts of same.

Since Canada has shut their "Weatheradio" system down, I am glad that the NOAA is seeking to update this system rather than dismantle it.

It only took me a minute to reply. The survey closes in two days, don't put it off.

I take a few moments to reflect on Memorial Days...In the service, I was always aware that death was close enough...through my duties as a Corpsman and the duties of people I worked with...

Dear Linux folks: I loaded Zorin onto an original surface book, I's like to get the touch screen to function. Suggestions or packages?

Thanks in advance....

Africa: Women More Likely Than Men to Die During an Ebola Outbreak: UN Body: [allAfrica] Geneva -- History has repeatedly shown us that women are more likely than men to die during an Ebola outbreak, the chief of humanitarian action of UN Women has said in Geneva. newsfeed.facilit8.network/TSgc #Ebola #WomenHealth #PublicHealth #GenderInequality #UNWomen

@bich Health in African countries is difficult, and, a Public Good. Not only for that continent, but this one. USAID was a fundamental part of supporting these efforts and the ACDC...We should reinstate that funding at the earliest opportunity.

Little update to the early time period of the Ebola graphic I'm working on now.
