I think I hit my stride on this retirement thing: Schedule of the day....Start some laundry, play with the dogs. Make chicken tinga tacos later and begin ETOH titration when cooking commences. Play Starfield....Take old guy drugs and generally relax.

Memorial Day is for remembrance of those that gave their all for the United States. Those individuals may not have had any influence on policy, but they did their duty.
I wish we had not lost some policy, set to a higher standard. I wish that many officers and enlisted personnel had learned the lessons of inclusion for all of the people...

I remember a high school teacher telling me, "The only school you will graduate from is the school of hard knocks..." 18 CLEP tests later, and a few additional classes, plus a GRE, I had an undergrad degree. A couple years later, while going to sea, I completed an MPA... More than one path.
