I saw this and I thought of

I love the community we have built here. No one waiting in the bushes to assault you if you say something they dont agree with; just acceptance and inclusion of everyone's ideas, it is wonderful!

It’s called mind over matter. If we don’t mind, it doesn’t matter.

Interesting that you answer that point and not the other, which by the way was exactly my point.

I cant say I agree. While certainly some people are rich by luck, those born rich, or if you win the lottery, but many got there through skill, which is the result of hard work. I forgot the exact number but in america i believe it was 40% - 50% of the fortune 500 list were not born rich.

I do agree that a lot of it is hard work but that is not mutually exclusive with skill, one creates the other. Not to mention that their advice often will include hard work as a requirement for success, so their advice, in my experience, is pretty spot on.

I did a lousy painting that left me frustrated and annoyed, so I grabbed another canvas, and decided that I was just going to practice mountains. The mountains aren't very good, which is okay, because I am learning and I've only done mountains five times, but I *love* the happy little evergreen on the right, which I made with the fan brush (I can't do them with a 1 or 2 inch brush to save my life).

I'm pretty happy with the sky, too. I had a lot of fun with the clouds.
