I often find most married and committed couples dont know the first thing about what love is. When you get affection inreturn, perhaps even build eachother up its easy to mistake that for love. It may be healthy and good and enriching, but love is much more than that. True and proper love exists not for what you get in return, to love is all love wants, not to be loved in return, that is just infatuation.
Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead. The consciousness of loving and being loved brings a warmth and a richness to life that nothing else can bring.

Calling an illegal immigrant an "undocumented immigrant" is like calling someone who is breaking and entering into your home an "undocumented tenant".
This is coming from a person who believes illegal immigrants are not worth our time or money to prevent and, if we werent a welfare state, I'd be pushing for open borders.

I've been trying to come up with my own style of Gothic font that works well with my music nib. This is what I have so far. I need to perfect the spacing but otherwise I like this style so far.

So apparently my choice of paper has been holding me back this whole time. Switched to a new paper designed to be the best for fountain pens. My Blackletter instantly leveled up. Apparently the last paper had just the slightest bit of bleed enough to loose some of the fine detail.

Another example of just what a music nib can do. This is my first time doing a lot of these fancy print letters, still perfecting the letter a though. I dont like the first one, but the others are nicer.

Stopped at a food cart in Brussels for lunch. I do not regret it. Wasn't expecting a food cart to slice their meat and cheese on the spot. Really good food, creamy mozzarella. -- October 4 at 5:47 PM
