@freemo You mentioned laptops and I wanted to see if you had an opinion on hinges. I got super fed up at my dell and HP laptop hinges failing in less than 2 years, that I did my research and bought an ACER Enduro last night. It supposedly has the toughest hinges available. There was an incredibly sweet deal on the ACER site that I just couldn't resist - 1T SSD, 16gb Ram, FHD, and an i7 all for $638 with the site discount. I hear that the color profile and the speakers suck, so I may need to ask/figure out later how I might improve those two things, but it felt like there was no other option. Sort of like your LVFS mantra, mine is "hinges before all else"!
