It’s not often that my work gets a killer five-star review from an actual killer.

And thus, my phone has been ringing off the hook which is bad news because my phone doesn’t have a hook.

Emails are pouring in. Text messages. Requests from many in the media.

Hmmm. Do I condemn murder?
That’s an odd question.

In Fahrenheit 9/11, I condemned the murder of hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi people and the senseless murder of our own American soldiers at the hands of our American government.

In Bowling for Columbine, I condemned the murder of 50,000 Americans every year at the hands of our gun industry and our politicians who do nothing to stop it.

In my 35 years as a filmmaker, have I said or done anything that has implied I condone murder?

As a teenager during the Vietnam War, I was required to register for the draft at the local draft board.
There was a box on the form asking me if I had a problem with killing Vietnamese people.

Actually, it just asked me to check the box if I was going to file for Conscientious Objector status
— meaning, if given the opportunity, would I swear that I would never kill a Vietnamese person.

I checked the box. Throughout my adult life, I have repeatedly stated that I’m a pacifist.

In fact, I have never struck another human in my life.

👉Here’s a sad statistic for you:

In the United States, we have a whopping 1.4 million people employed with the job of DENYING HEALTH CARE,
vs only 1 million doctors in the entire country!

That’s all you need to know about America.

We pay more people to deny care than to give it.

1 million doctors to give care, 1.4 million brutes in cubicles doing their best to stop doctors from giving that care.

If the purpose of “health care” is to keep people alive, then what is the purpose of DENYING PEOPLE HEALTH CARE?

Other than to kill them?

I definitely condemn that kind of murder.

And in fact, I already did.

In 2007, I made a film
– SICKO
– about America’s bloodthirsty, profit-driven and murderous health insurance system.

It was nominated for an Oscar.

It’s the second-largest grossing film of my career (after Fahrenheit 9/11).

And over the past 15 years, millions upon millions of people have watched it including, apparently, Luigi Mangione.

After the killing of the CEO of United HealthCare,
the largest of these billion dollar insurance companies,
there was an immediate OUTPOURING of anger toward the health insurance industry.

Some people have stepped forward to condemn this anger.

I am not one of them.

The anger is 1000% justified.

It is long overdue for the media to cover it.

It is not new.

It has been boiling.

And I’m not going to tamp it down or ask people to shut up.

I want to pour gasoline on that anger.

Because this anger is not about the killing of a CEO.

If everyone who was angry was ready to kill the CEOs,
the CEOs would already be dead.

That is not what this reaction is about.

It is about the mass death and misery
— the physical pain, the mental abuse, the medical debt, the bankruptcies in the face of denied claims and denied care and bottomless deductibles on top of ballooning premiums
— that this “health care” industry has levied against the American people for decades.

With no one standing in their way! Just a government
— two broken parties
— enabling this INDUSTRY’s theft and, yes, murder

Disabled and Covid cautious people have been sounding alarm bells about H5N1 for months. We are desperately trying to warn others to pay attention - but no one is listening.

The first severe human case was announced today in Louisiana.

Where are we headed & why don’t people care?

First - I think it’s important to note that Canada had its first severe human case a few weeks ago.

A 16 year old BC teen was in the ICU and had no confirmed exposure to infected animals/birds.

No updates are being given on his condition (and public health has confirmed none will be provided).

Louisiana’s case appears to be getting slightly more media attention - likely because it was announced on the same day as a State of Emergency in California and the first human case in Wisconsin.

Despite all these concerning events - governments are doing virtually nothing to prepare for the possibility of another pandemic.

In fact - the new nominee for HHS RFK Jr recently posted a photo of his meal which included raw milk (among other high risk items)

Farm workers were provided with FREE PPE months ago in an effort to prevent spread from animals to humans - the majority refused to use it.

After all - we can’t “live in fear”.

Anti mask rhetoric combined with public health failures is once again costing lives.

Many animals have been culled already - and we don’t know if the BC teen survived.

We’ve got a population that’s been allowing themselves to be repeatedly infected with Covid for the last five years - leading to possible severe immune system damage.

People no longer believe in taking any precautions - masks and vaccines are seen as “weak”.

They praise themselves for “not living in fear” while throwing away their health and risking the health of those around them.

The incoming administration has proven they have no interest in fixing public health - in fact they seem intent on undermining it at every turn.

They’ve talked of removing access to certain vaccines, abortion pills, contraceptives, affordable healthcare and more.

They promote harmful narratives about “wellness” that suggest a person can ignore all sound science and medical advice without consequence.

Drink raw milk, avoid vaccines, inject yourself with bleach and let the “health” wash over you.

I’m gutted that more people aren’t pushing back. Our public health agencies and leaders are failing us over and over - and because people can’t bring themselves to face the reality that our 2019 “normal” is gone - they’re swallowing the comfortable lies with a smile.

We must change course. Too many lives have been lost already. Millions upon millions are disabled. Many of the deaths and disability were preventable if people would simply accept that our world has changed and we must change with it.

We don’t need lockdowns. You don’t have to stop living your life. You need to stop accepting covid infections as inevitable. Wear a respirator. Clean and ventilate the air. Stay home when you’re sick.

Demand better from leaders. Refuse to participate in the ruse any longer.

Maskers are NOT the sheep. Everyone who stopped masking did so at the urging of government leaders. They were told it was time to “go back to normal”.

They were instructed that “only then vulnerable” needed to worry and it was ok to leave them by the wayside.

The problem is - it wasn’t true. Covid is a threat to everyone. Bird flu is as well. The “wayside” is growing exponentially every day because people outright refuse to take measures to safeguard their health.

The few people still masking aren’t doing it for fun. They’re trying to stay alive.

It’s time to join us. We will help you. You don’t have to be the lone masker. There’s many people who are sick and tired of being sick and tired. They WANT to mask back up but peer pressure and ableism are powerful drugs.

The more of us masking - the easier it will be to normalize masks as a public health tool. We will lessen the effects of peer pressure and break chains of transmission.

We can and will literally save lives.

It’s time. Demand more transparency from government and better access to honest and accurate data about the risks of COVID and H5N1.

Wear a mask and clean the air. Refuse to relegate people to the wayside - and you just might avoid ending up there yourself.
