Corporate Dems need to learn to take a back seat and stop acting like MAGA-lite. We are fortunate to have several amazing Black electeds and candidates running for US Senate and US House—we don’t need corporate Dems erasing them.

Florida GOP gerrymandered its districts to dilute Black voters. But almost no one is talking about the response of Florida’s corporate Dems.

1. They’re running Alexander Vindman for Senate even though an extraordinary Black State Rep named Angie Nixon was already running

2. They’re running Debbi Wasserman Schulz for House in majority non-white CD-20 even though 6 Black Dem candidates are already running.

Both parties in Florida are telling Black people to take a back seat & it’s indefensible.

As we see sincere post after post from MoC, here's the likely Trump version: This Memorial Day, we dishonor the suckers & losers who were stupid enough to make the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Only a measly 13 or so died in my illegal Iran war so far, so...problem? GOP MoC fine w/ this.

On this Memorial Day a salute to the news correspondents who’ve died covering the world’s wars. I want to pay special tribute to one of my closest friends, Natasha Singh. She was 28. Along with the AP’s Sharon Herbaugh she was one of 15 aboard a helicopter who died in a 1993 crash in Afghanistan.

So I'm not sure how I'm meant to remember Memorial Day now that the US has adopted the fascism most of our honored dead fought to defeat. It kinda feels like our rememberance should consist of apologies.

I'm going to build a set of 12 knight miniatures with historically correct horses, armour and weapons for jousting, circa 1450.

But I'm going to have fun with the heraldry and have whatever medieval knights I like because I'm weird.
