The daylight hours are so short now. I feel like I want to crawl into bed and hibernate until March.

Ate half of a frozen pizza for my early dinner. Washed dishes. Appropriated a cookie jar I haven't been using and put it to use by putting the gluten free oatmeal packets in it.

These next 2 months will be hard with a darkness I've never been through before. I hope I can hold onto my sanity and bearings.

I'm going to reserve my conclusions for tomorrow however I think we all know where this is trending.
For one man though this election is very much existential. I do not expect Zelenski to survive this and Ukraine will most likely fall.
Ukraine is the equivalent of Spain in the late 30s.The bad guys will win first there and keep winning until they're stopped or we're a very different species.

This is really important. I taught 8th grade math at a 6-8 middle school. There were two of us among the 18 teachers who taught math who had degrees in math, and how much they'd learned in earlier grades was wrong was frightening. An unholy number of elementary school teachers never liked math and do a poor job teaching it.

Most people are shocked at Trump’s cabinet choices. He’s not hiring them to run those agencies, he’s hiring them to ruin them. I bet he hasn’t hit bottom yet. Think of the WORST people in Trump’s orbit. Cash Patel for the FBI. Jared Kushner as Treasurer. Kari Lake as White House press secretary. I’m sure Don Jr will have a roll. Don’t forget about Rudy, Bannon, Roger Stone & Alex Jones.
