It was a pretty nice day for yet another bridge protest. We put up pro-voting banners and, as always, a big Ukrainian flag as well as a bunch of US flags. Some of us were holding anti-ICE signs or Pride flags. This is a heavily blue area, so the local traffic on the bridge loved us! I only saw one middle finger the whole time. I'm a teacher who left my last school because the management were arseholes. Now whenever I see 'vote for our school' posts on social media so they can win some award, I deliberately vote for whoever they're up against. Fuck them.

For some reason, I never really got into Bluesky. Maybe it's because I've spent so much time on Mastodon. I know this post shows up there thanks to @bsky.brid.gy, but I still wonder what the real appeal of *sky is. Is it just because it's not X or Threads?
