@swiley
Also, the application costs around $200k, so that's far from realistic for the vast majority of people.
@swiley
Sorry, I more meant that defending Apple's monopoly on .apple even when the use doesn't infringe on their trademark would be akin to letting Microsoft have .net, since they have a trademark on .NET
@smartbrain
It's flagged as inappropriate for younger viewers. You could try searching for "Hannity: Trump releases video reacting to deadly terror attacks in Afghanistan" on Fox News instead of YouTube.
@hntooter
The full title is, "Having SARS-CoV-2 once confers much greater immunity than a vaccine—but no infection parties, please"
Also, from the article:
"The researchers also found that people who had SARS-CoV-2 previously and then received one dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccine were more highly protected against reinfection than those who once had the virus and were still unvaccinated."
You should get vaccinated whether you've had the virus or not.
@rlamacraft The real reason is that "Brand TLDs" like .apple are a cynical moneygrab by ICANN.
@swiley By that logic, we should hand .net over to Microsoft.
Misleading article. The bill would give patients the option to be recorded while unconscious. That's not authoritarian.
I don't think it's a great idea though. If you don't trust your doctor, you shouldn't let them put you under, recording or no.
