When reviewing and refactoring (your own) old code, which is worse?

Just had to increase the font size in my IDE (again), so that's how today's going.
After 30+ years in software, it still amazes me how you can simultaneously feel like a genius for fixing a bug and like an idiot for whatever chaotic lapse of reason caused you to write it like that in the first place.
Shout out to the lone guy completely taking over the 6-top at the busy hotel breakfast area while the family of 4 huddles around a single small round table.
Sure would hate to be Southwest PR right now...

Built in verification. Every reporter for the Washington Post on a washpo domain. Every reporter for the New York Times on an NYTimes domain. Etc, etc.
Plus the “local” feed for each instance becomes a feed of all the posts from that institution mixed together — providing extra discovery.
