it's weird listening to stories from Ukrainians right now. I'm not sure if this is essentially sympathetic coverage to prepare citizens for war or if these are just genuinely sympathetic stories worth hearing. I also kind of hate that I can be this jaded.

I don't know why all these propagandist even bother to set up these new accounts to spew their lies. Nobody listens. I just block them.
I don't watch old media that much anymore. But you can just follow the money; who is buttering their bread. Usually its their advertisers, or potential advertisers. Or anyone who has a lot of money that might be thrown their way.
It has nothing to do national loyalty, commitment to democracy, human rights, anything like that. Its the money.
@Pat I'm not even talking about propaganda really. it's more like what the news decides to show and not show. honestly though, I don't know how those decisions get made in news rooms
