I don't know how to use the #MentalHealth #hashtag on social media. Some people use it for specific clinical topics (perhaps for psychiatric diagnoses and treatments), but other people use it for general #SelfCare. I don't have any diagnoses (other than mild #ADHD) so I don't feel comfortable grouping myself with those who have more serious conditions and symptoms. And frankly, I don't want to follow discussions about serious and often permanent mental conditions when what I'm looking for is how to deal with problems like #BurnOut.
So are there different hashtags to serve the different categories of people?
- those who have "serious" mental conditions
- those who are privileged to have more "minor" and transitory problems
