Not sure I understand how our domestic law enforcement agency and DOE are involved in determining the origin of a pandemic in a foreign country. Can anyone explain what skill set they bring to epidemiology? I’m really confused.

The DOE (aka the oil industry) are the same folks who said that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and got us into that war under a false pretense. It's the same thing this time... long war with <fill in the blank> and sell a bunch of weapons and take a bunch of oil off the market in the meantime to drive up gas prices and fuck the poor.
