I think the biggest reason I want to be found guilty is so he can't run for president and then there is some actual hope someone other than Biden or Trump might actually win...

@freemo I also want trump in jail but Biden has been a great president. He would be better by miles than any GOP candidate.

@mdylanbell Well we clearly agree at least on the part that we both want Trump in jail.

As for Biden being better than ny GOP candidate.. i dunno its hard to compare its hard to compare a bucket of shit and a bowl of shit and determine which one is better... I'd say Biden is far worse than many of them, even though most GOP choices are pretty horrific too.

Bidens horrific racism, previously overt, now masked, is really hard to compare to from anyone on the GOP side... the man spent most of his career trying to keep segregation alive, I cant think of too many on the GOP who are half as evil as that to be honest, though i agree they are quite evil regardless.

@freemo oh, sorry to see you aren’t a fan of facts and are easily duped by fascist rhetoric. Blocked.

1. There is no doubt that Biden was racist 50 years ago when he opposed desegregation of schools in Delaware. He said it would create "a racial jungle". (However, I know of no evidence that supports the statement that he "spent most of his career trying to keep segregation alive".)

That was 50-years ago. Today obviously he is not a racist, based on his appointments, policies and pubic comments.

As to being worse than the Republicans, most if not all of the major candidates supported Trump very recently, an overt racist, and any one who openly supports a racist for public office is a racist -- today.

2. To judge someone based on who they were or what they said 50-years ago is about the dumbest fucking thing I can think of. In fact, assessing any candidate today based on what they say or promise today is pretty stupid, too, (unless they are openly racist) because truth and integrity are gone and no one can be trusted.

All we can do is look at what laws got passed and what policies were implemented and what the effect of those policies were and evaluate an officeholder based on that. If half of all the things you want and laws you support got done, then reelect the incumbents; if not, then vote for someone else who has not held high office before and has not yet had a chance to fuck things up.

@mdylanbell

Matt, I think blocking someone who is misinformed is not constructive. I think it is better to engage them and correct them rather than avoid them, (if the guy is sincere in their views and comments, as Freemo is.) My advise, FWIW.

(FWIW = for what it's worth)

@Pat @mdylanbell Thats not what I see at all. I think think thats exactly the act he wants you to buy and think.. in reality he has moved from being overtly racist, to exploiting minorities for his own gain... ill explain why.

For me to even **consider** he had a change of heart what I need to see is a heart felt sobbing apology for his abysmal attitude throughout most of his life and the racist policies he fought so hard for... Guess what, he has never apologize ONCE, not even a feigned apology, we got shit.

No person alive could have been that person, changed to caring about minorities and not apologize... that alone tells me he never changed, he just changed tactics.

What he did was he realized the world was changing so by exploiting minorities it worked out better for him. So instead of apologizing he just rewrote his image, surrounded himself with every minority he could exploit to help his image and used and abused the community so he could win power...

He never changed, he just cared more about power than anything else, and so he decided to market a different image, thats it.

Keep in mind as I've said before Biden is a personal friend of the family too, so much of my opinion about him and his racism comes from personal interaction.
