Atheist; loathe almost all religions and pity the people deluded enough to follow them. I make exceptions for Buddhism as it isn't really a religion in the strictest sense of the word as it doesn't postulate the existence of any god, and Jainism which is the epitome of peace.
For anyone who is interested, my header photo is of the most stupendous sunset I have ever seen. On the right is the waterfront of Vientiane, the capital of Laos, on the left is Thailand and in the middle, acting as the border between the two countries is the mighty Mekong river.

Covid could easily mutate, provoking another pandemic. Another virus; more or less deadly, could easily arise - perhaps a deady form of the influenza virus.
Apparently, Ryanair, one of Europes largest airlines is gig-only. Theeir pilots have to set up as self-employed and are contractors not employees - so no holidays, no sick pay, no employee style benefits whatever!

I got involved in a discussion years back in which some completely cüntwitted prick from the UK was banging on about the damage that fluoridation was doing to the bodies and minds of the people in the city where he lived . Something made me check the fluoridation status of various areas in the UK and I discovered that the area he was talking about had quite adequate levels of natural fluoride in their water supplies so they were never subject to articifical fluoridation!
In fact very few areas of the UK ever added fluoride to their drinking water as it is rarely necessary.

I would define socialism as a form of communism. I would dispute the premise that communism has ever been tried and failed, although I acknowledge that a lot of things that have been called 'communism', have been tried and have largely failed!

Has the British government made any effort to consult with countries like Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg who have had provision for euthanasia on their stature books for years? I doubt it! The British can never take good advice from others - it somehow diminishes them!
