Aren’t most NFT’s basically just randomly generated pixels anyway? Why copyright something that you didn’t even put any thought into? Sure, you pressed the button that made it happen, but anyone could have done that, and tons of people are doing that.

@PsychoCod3r Well, creating an NFT is not the same thing as a copyright. Miramax already holds the copyright and has for the last ~30 years. NFTs are kind of uncharted territory for copyright though. The last major overhaul of the law in the US was in the 70s, so it’s not even equipped to deal with digital media, let alone fake ownership via blockchains.
