Something big is happening in Mastodon over the weekend. Here is my graph, updated. Right now Mastodon is growing ~3 times faster than Twitter.

Managed to install #Arch :arch: on my laptop, with the help of a little tutorial:

I guess I'm now entitled to use the phrase/meme "BTW I use arch" ? 😂

I'll play with #i3 later

@fribbledom
On paper can also be a password manager. Physical access thieves are more likely to steal a high value item like a phone or a laptop than a paper notebook.

@dansup probably pay for it if they didn't steal all my information and use it against me.

“The Signal for Help (or the Violence at Home Signal for Help) is a single-handed gesture that can be used by an individual to alert others that they feel threatened and need help over a video call, or in-person.”

@eloquence I do not agree. Choice of words is always a good topic.

You just don't have to be an ass about it.

Shoutout to :arch:, #Arch might not be my chosen distro but your documentation has saved me many times over and I'm thankful again today. :ac_joy:

@thenewoil Upgraded some hours ago, so cool that this distro feels more stable than stability itself :ac_laughter: Vanilla #gnome-#debian experience and all good. :debian:

The Framework Laptop: Upgradeable, repairable, and 100% yours

It’s time for long-lasting products that respect your right to repair and upgrade.
The single best way to reduce the environmental impact of electronics is to make them last longer. You can repair and upgrade the Framework Laptop to make it work great for as long as you need it to. On top of that, it uses a 50% post consumer recycled (PCR) aluminium housing, 30% PCR plastic, and fully recyclable materials for packaging.
Built-in hardware privacy switches give you complete control over access to the camera and microphones. Their embedded controller firmware is fully open source, and they claim not to preload any extra software.
It is expected to ship by the Summer of 2021 (Northern Hemisphere?).

Remember videos rarely got over 10 views on #LBRY and most videos didn't even have any at all. Those days are no more, this platform now has an actual userbase and most of my content gets over 600 views, with a few brushing 1000. Get in while it's still early #Odysee

My initial impressions of Microsoft Teams from an enterprise perspective:

It is a *really* good Discord/Slack clone.

I may have just ordered a standing desk.

Finally. I've been thinking about it for a couple of months already.
