In a few hours I'll be at a #minecraft wedding, playing a redstone organ for the ceremony at this venue that I built for the happy couple. It'll be streamed on twitch.tv/stingin so if you want to watch and go "awww" then join us at 4pm EST.

This has held up well. I actually met @mikmaqpeek on Ultima Online. Enjoy the game as you will, and accept joy into your life. As to this comic, I blame @scottjohnson .

Haha! Happily the couple in the Minecraft wedding are real. They had a private real life wedding because of Covid and travelling distance from family, and the Minecraft ceremony was just a way of inviting family and friends to share the experience. The fact that it's tied to a real life marriage made it quite special as well as fun. Apparently people cried...

Good! I'm glad to hear that, and happy you have a good sense of humor. My wife wanted to have a UO wedding, and I declined mostly based on that very cartoon. In fact, when we met and she started talking with me, I suggested it was OK, but I really couldn't be sure she wasn't some dude in his underwear in his parent's basement. She did not care for that response... AT ALL!

Shortly after she emailed me a copy of her driver's license which freaked me out because ONE DOES NOT EVER DO THAT. She has since seen that was a very bad plan. Together, we have also dealt with manipulative people with false claims, so she sees the humor in and understands the image for what it is.

I'm glad for more context about the wedded couple. Sounds like it was a good idea, and I am happy for them, and you. 😊
