The only advantage I see to writeas is the format of the site is spaces in a way that is more appealing to long-form.. wider columns and all.

@freemo @mngrif I see the separate writeas instance as like, the link I'd give to people who don't use mastodon (but really they should). So it looks more like a standalone blog article or something, rather than a toot.
I have a regular blog and then import mastodon as a side column labeled microblogging. I dont think i could do that on writeas
