So, John Roberts believes that “A judicial system cannot and should not live in fear”, and I agree, but he needs to think a bit bigger. NO ONE should be living in fear. We all, including the judicial system, have the right to not live in fear.

And John Roberts plus four of his friends have the unique power to solve this for both himself and everybody else. The major issue is: Unfettered ability to purchase and carry guns whose sole purpose is killing people.

Police in the US killed 1,176 people in 2022, which is more people than they have killed in any other year in the past decade. Police do not make people safer. Black people are 3x more likely to be killed by police than white people and 1.3x more likely to be unarmed when they are killed.
