@buddha_314 @orci what book do you want @orci
@buddha_314 @orci damn they're expensive lmfao
@orci @buddha_314 pocket book seems better than kobo, but not available from their site for my country again lol but I'll look around at local stores if they have it available
@avoidthehack its okay :)
@buddha_314 @orci Buying books isn't an issue since I sail the seas if yk what i mean :)
@buddha_314 Sadly not available for where I live but I might do research into seeing if its possible to flash lineage OS onto a kindle or something
@avoidthehack let me know how it goes!
@orci @buddha_314 sad too, Kobo isn't even available to purchase for my country, i might do research into flashing a kindle, maybe I can install lineage OS
@orci damn thats dope 😂 I hope i can have my own collection of knives, swords and axes lol
@stux me too, dad jokes & dark humour are my favourite kinds of comedy😂
Anyone know of a privacy friendly alternative to Kindle?
I was just going to buy one, never register and keep it on airplane mode then sideload books via calibre from my pc but after reading this [article](https://nullsweep.com/kindle-collects-a-surprisingly-large-amount-of-data/) I don't want to run the risk of having all my data still being stored & then sent when i forget to keep airplane mode off
#privacy #cybersecurity
Always remember you’re unique,
@stux 😂 brilliant
@avoidthehack cant answer for the first one but i know for 2. most recommend Metatext
@orci thats brilliant now start collecting swords😂
@tobraham @CKsTechnologyNews Lol well i stream often from soap2day(dot)to and use uBlockOrigin and don't have issues, I can find majority of shows and movies on there
@tobraham @CKsTechnologyNews it probably would be, but why not run your own plex server or sail the seas 🚢 instead of paying a subscription for limited media that you dont truly own
@stux haha true
@phillycodehound @stux @allenholub apparently its stux's own account ?
@allenholub
@stux @google@mstdn.social its still active for me ? i can still see the toots
@avoidthehack @Android Owner Accidentally makes 70K
