@SandyKendell it is not as bad as you think. I realized I was comparing the loss of a service that no longer exists (non crazy, Musk controlled twitter where hate speech is proliferating already) to having nothing, but then I didn’t factor in Mastodon education. I have a rich network here, more engaging than Twitter was. So, it was the moment you experience as you step into the deep end of a pool.
