Something US companies often forget is that a bug in the right place might hurt revenues much more then a strike.

Developers, instead, should remind this.

It's up to us to make the software... work. ;-)

I joined an Italian years ago.

My point though is that usual methods are suboptimal to useless in IT.

Yet have very effective ways to fight for what they don't want to do because it's wrong (be it exploiting people through social networks or killing through software weapons): subtle .

@UlrikNyman

Suppose you work for and you realize your work is going to be used to kill kids in .

Suppose that it makes you realize what kind of people you are working for.

What's the most effective way you can reduce the victims?

Protest publicily and you will be fired.
(because "US democracy" 🤢)

But what if you hid subtle bugs deep in the software that pass all QA check but turns the software into a huge liability when run in production?

@shauna

@Shamar @shauna But if you get fired for going on strike, then the workers of the USA need to use violence to fight the companies.

This is the only reason we have workers rights is Denmark. It was a bloody affair to get the first agreement between the workers unions and the employers.
