@freemo @srwennekes @sillystring The difference of course is that someone paid him a helluva lot of money for "being dumb" as you say. I wish I could get someone to pay me 1/4 of what he got. So, he's at least smart enough to game the system.
@freemo @srwennekes @sillystring I've seen numerous people talk about his supposed low IQ, most talk about how he actually was appealing to the "lowest common denominator" of the country, choosing to use the simpler words so that those with a fifth grade education could understand him. That takes knowledge and wisdom to successfully pull off.

I probably won't watch, and wanted to see if anyone else planned to. It's not out of respect/dis-respect to anyone, I simply don't typically watch because I'm usually at work (and will be this time as well) and don't really like all the pomp that goes along with it. I will probably catch the highlights (who can avoid them?), but that's about it.
