I just made my $1000 Rivian reservation. First time I have paid to be a sales lead. Curious how long of a wait until a Rivian sales rep contacts me to see if I am qualified to pay cash for my new $100,000 pickup truck.
It is with a heavy heart that I report the passing of Solar Pioneer Carol Judd, co-founder of InterIsland Solar in Hawaii.
We filmed this footage in 2016 for the upcoming documentary film release of "Solar Roots - the Pioneers of PV”. The love between Carol and Cully is evident and their message of helping the world with solar energy has inspired me in the work I do every day.
Rest In Peace Carol, and thank you for leading the way

I was upset over the horrible cambridge analytica scandal, but Leon Skum has surpassed the depravity of Mark Suckerberg with his support of racist right wing philosophies. It seems like doing good is a foreign concept to those that run social media. This is why I am intrigued by Mastodon. The fact that no one billionaire controls the platform makes me hopeful that social media has a future.

@BE I work in the solar industry and do care about sustainability. However, like you, I am disappointed with most of the people that work in the industry that fail to grasp the importance of reduce/reuse/recycle and sustainability in electricity use.
