@Sphinx Well you currently have it set so you need to approve followers. This will probably reduce the number of followers you get. If you want to keep that setting perhaps encourage people to follow you in your description so they know you are welcome.

Also it really helps to meet new people to use the federated feed and engage on interesting posts as they fly by.
