If anything, the entire history of America is a fight against authoritarianism. Today’s struggles are certainly ugly and Orwell is alive and well, but don’t forget about William “remember the Maine” Hearst. And if the author missed the part about American genocide and slavery then 🤷🏻♂️
Musk is a steeming pile, but if we as a society depend on a private organization to provide us with public safety, then that’s on us.

A CNN pundit just characterized the mifepristone decision as “questioning the integrity of the FDA process.”
Seems more accurate to say that the decision questions the integrity of the judge that made the decision.

Gun protesters should be using the same tactics as abortion protesters.
I often drive by a Planned Parenthood clinic where abortion protesters occasionally carry blown up photos of  aborted fetuses. Like it or not, this tactic is effective. Gun protesters should absolutely adopt it. Horrific photos of gunshot victims should be rubbed in the faces of NRA convention goers, gun shop visitors, and Republican congressman. Ruthlessly
